Are you ready to escape to one of the most beautiful coastlines and beaches in all of Canada? Well, look no further than Cavendish beach. Yes, it’s the biggest tourist area on the Island but it’s also one of the most beautiful. There are many reasons why so many people from all over the world flock here every summer. One reason of course is the because of that charming little red-haired girl known the world over, but another main reason is because of it’s natural beauty and breathtaking features not found anywhere else in the world. Where else can you see skillfully carved red sandstone cliffs, a sweeping, picturesque shoreline coupled with majestic sand dunes?
Notice what the author of Anne of Green Gables once wrote about Cavendish beach:
“I think Cavendish shore is the most beautiful in the world. This is not merely my fond and foolish fancy. I once heard a man who had been all over the world say he had never seen a more beautiful beach than that of Cavendish sand shore…”
